Anambrarians and friends of Anambrarians on Sunday, July 28, 2013, had fun, made merry and displayed their proud colours at Newbridge House, Donabate, Co Fingal, Dublin. This is a wonderful way for Anambrarians in Dublin to get together and celebrate the coming of fall and say good-bye to summer.

More than 150 ASA members & friends joined together for barbeque (anu ewu), visit to the animal farm, dancing competition, egg toss, amusement park games for children. Onsite was also a balloon artist and a face painter to keep smiles on all ASA kid’s faces.

Dedicated members with sophisticated mobile gadgets, cameras and other photographing equipment were also on hand at the Newbridge House to capture the spirit of the event. “The end of summer is a great time to get together and celebrate with your neighbours” said an ASA member. ASA family fun day has evolved into an annual event that is talked- about for weeks. It’s just another example of the sense of ASA-Community and traditions that are evolving at ASA-Dublin.

To cap it all, there was an extraordinary and an inspirational display of poetic skills by one of our Children, Chidinma Gold Achugbu and her brothers, Kenechukwu & Munachim with a sensational poem about the summer jamboree. It was a masterpiece!
